Who this applies to

This waiver applies to participants of the Esalen Massage Global Village Gathering.

There are two registration paths:

  • Practitioner Path – for Esalen® Massage practitioners, practitioners in training, and bodyworkers who practice within the Esalen Massage lineage.

  • Introduction Path – for participants new to Esalen Massage

By registering for the Practitioner Path, you confirm that you are either:

  • a certified Esalen® Massage Practitioner,

  • currently in training in Esalen® Massage, or

  • a bodyworker with relevant professional experience whose practice is informed by the Esalen Massage lineage or closely related approaches.

Responsibility & insurance

Participants take part at their own responsibility and confirm that they are in suitable physical and mental condition to participate. Workshops and group activities involve inherent risks. By registering, participants accept these risks. Participants are responsible for health, accident, travel, and cancellation (annulation) insurance.
The organizers do not provide insurance coverage.

Liability

The organizers, faculty, and hosting venue are not liable for injury, accident, or loss, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Photo & media guidelines

Inside workshop rooms, photos and video recordings may only be taken by persons officially assigned by the organizers.
Personal photography or filming during workshops is not permitted.

Workshop recordings and photos may be used for documentation, educational purposes, and promotion of Esalen Massage. Participants who do not wish to appear in recordings must inform the organizing team in advance.

Ethical conduct

All participants agree to act with respect, consent, and professional conduct throughout the event.
