Deep Bodywork – Liberating the Lower Back and Hips

with Eva-Maria Leve and Nina Ottenheym

This one-day Deep Bodywork training focuses on the lower back and hips — regions that support both movement and emotional grounding.
Eva-Maria Leve and Nina Ottenheym guide participants through a clear, experiential process combining anatomy, movement, demonstration, and guided exchange.

Focus and Approach
The work addresses deep-seated holding in the Quadratus Lumborum, Gluteals, and Hip Rotators.
Through precise techniques and grounded touch, participants explore how body weight, breath, and direction allow depth without force.
Structure and awareness meet in practice, blending anatomical knowledge with presence and sensitivity.

Learning Structure
Morning: Functional anatomy study, demonstration of Deep Bodywork for the lower back, and supervised practice in prone position.
Afternoon: Side-lying techniques for the hips and lateral structures, supported by review and feedback.
Gestalt-informed inquiry connects physical release with awareness — bringing together the technical and the human aspects of bodywork.

This training is for practitioners who wish to refine their technique and return to the roots of depth.
Working with the lower back and hips renews a sense of grounding — in touch, in movement, and in daily life.
