Deep Structural Work - Liberating the Lower Back and Hips
with Eva-Maria Leve and Nina Ottenheym
Working with the lower back and hips renews a sense of grounding — in touch, in movement, and in daily life.
This one-day training focuses on the lower back and hips, regions that support both mobility and emotional grounding.
We will explore deep structural work around the lumbar spine and hip joints, integrating it with long, flowing strokes that offer the nervous system safety and regulation. Gestalt-informed inquiry gives participants a supportive space to integrate and deepen their experience of the day.
Eva-Maria Leve and Nina Ottenheym guide participants through a clear, experiential process that combines anatomy, movement, demonstration, and guided exchange.
The work addresses deep-seated holding in the quadratus lumborum, gluteals, and hip rotators.
Through precise techniques and grounded touch, participants discover how body weight, breath, and direction allow depth without force.
Morning: Functional anatomy study, demonstration of deep structural work for the lower back, and supervised practice in the prone position.
Afternoon: Side-lying techniques for the hips and lateral structures, supported by review and feedback.
This training is for practitioners who wish to refine their techniques and return to the roots of depth and presence.
